The very first edition of the WAR RACE, an obstacle course paying tribute to war heroes, battlefields, and history, took place in Belgium. It was the 75thth anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, called Battle of the Bulge by the Anglo-Americans, which was therefore being honored this January.
The WAR RACE is a 20km OCR race with around thirty obstacles – nothing too unusual so far. Except that the race is done while wearing a 2kg tactical vest that includes a backpack with essential supplies and the extra weight gained from missed obstacles… because each missed obstacle adds 1kg to the pack, and each unattempted obstacle adds 2kg! Now, that's where it gets interesting!
Our two members of the OCR Pro Team PRiDEorDiE quickly blended into the background wearing the brand's latest Rashguard, the model RECKLESS - Urban Camo. Atmosphere !
The team's female member, Aurélie Lannoy, finished the course in 2'26'21 without any penalties, securing a very impressive 3rd place thanks to this time.th Make way for the women's general "Pro Artillery" and a nice cash prize!
Jérôme Rey finished the race in 2'20'22 without any penalties, placing 3rdth in age category and 44th to the male general "Pro Artillery".

Congratulations to our athletes for their results. Now off to Valmorel in Savoie for the SPARTAN RACE Winter 2020 !
